Stephen Sommers Attorney, Partner
STEPHEN V. SOMMERS (licensed in Virginia 1999, Texas (1997), Maryland (1996)), was born at Camp Pendleton, CA, October 4, 1956 and educated at Troy State University (B.S., Summa Cum Laude, 1981), Golden Gate University (M.A., 1986) and American University (Juris Doctor, 1995). Mr. Sommers retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Major after 22 years flying fighter aircraft. Mr. Sommers has been admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Fourth Circuit and the Tenth Circuit and all Virginia Courts. He is a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, Virginia Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Aviation Section of the Texas Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association, as well as each state’s Bar Association he is licensed in. Mr. Sommers has extensive experience in all types of trial litigation and specializes in personal injury, criminal defense, medical malpractice, product liability, aviation crash litigation, as well as general civil litigation in state and federal courts. A member of The Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the most prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Nominated by the American Institute of Personal Injury Attorneys as 10 Best for 2015 and 2016.

Sandra Ulloa Attorney, Partner
Sandra L. Ulloa, a native of Blacksburg, Virginia, was brought up in a bilingual setting speaking fluent Spanish. From elementary to high school, Ms. Ulloa had the opportunity to travel extensively every summer to different countries in Africa, Europe, Central and South America. In Spain, she was enrolled in the Sampere Institute for more than seven summers, where she received training in Spanish culture, language and literature. She graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1993 with honors. Ms. Ulloa graduated from University of Virginia in 1997 with a BA in Biology and Spanish. She studied abroad in an intensive program at Universidad International in San José, Costa Rica, and a year later participated in Spanish program offered by the University of Virginia at the University of Valencia, Spain. In 2001 Ms. Ulloa graduated from T. C. Williams School of Law of the University of Richmond. During her sophomore year she enrolled in the international law program at the Law School of the University of Cambridge in England. Licensed to practice law in Virginia in 2002 and admitted to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals to practice in 2002. SANDRA L. ULLOA practices criminal, traffic, Immigration, and family law as well as acting as Guardian Ad Litem (GAL) representing the best interest of children in both the Hispanic community and the community at large. She is currently a partner in the law offices of Sommers Ulloa.
